It contains chlorocatechol-degradative genes, cbnR-ABCD, encoding chlorocatechol 1,2-dioxygenase, chloromuconate cycloisomerase, dienelactone hydrolase and maleylacetate reductase, respectively. The cbnR-ABCD was flanked by two IS1600 elements.

Tn6001 is a 12.1-kb transposon-like element found in a multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolate in Taiwan. It contained tnpA and tnpR (similar to Tn1403), an integron In450 [containing integron integrase, six gene cassettes (blaVIM-3, orf2 (putative fosfomycin resistance protein), three aacA4 and aadB), sul1 gene in the 3'CS]. orfB, orfC,orfD and truncated orfA, similar to Tn1403 and Tn1404, were also found as part of this transposon.
