Characteristics
Tn6072 is a 29.4-kb composite transposon in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus ST239, containing IS431 flanking 29 ORFs. It is homologous staphylococcal cassette chromosome mercury (SCCHg) but lacks the characteristic mer operon. It contains Tn554 which was disrupted by the insertion of IS4001 (containing aacA kanamycin resistance gene).

Characteristics
Tn6074 (also called ICE6074 and ICESb1) is a 109-kb transposon found in Salmonella bongori strain CEIM46082. It contains genes encoding putative mobility functions (replication, type IVB pilus, transfer/conjugation, and integration/excision) and also genes encoding a putative autotransporter, ion channel, quinolone resistance, bleomycin resistance and drug efflux. However, no increase in resistance to bleomycin, nalidixic acid, ciprofloxacin, marbofloxacin, or enrofloxacin was seen in the host strains of ICESb1, indicating that these CDSs may not be expressed under the conditions tested or that they have alternative functions.

Characteristics
Tn6079 is a 28.4-kb Tn916-like conjugative transposon, found in infant GI metagenomic library. It was highly similar to a putative Tn916-like transposon identified in Streptococcus gallolyticus subsp. gallolyticus strain UCN34, carrying tetracycline resistance genes tet(M) and tet(L), with the insertion of erythromycin resistance gene erm(T) [flanking by two putative IS1216 elements].
